Which is better? I'm thinking about downloading one of these onto my psp via the psn store. These are two RPGs that i missed and both look quite interesting. I usually don't ask for opinions when purchasing a game but my research hasn't swayed my choice either way.suikoden or wild arms?
I'd say Suikoden personally. I think it leads into a much better series (and is a better game by itself)suikoden or wild arms?
I never really liked the puzzle aspect of the Wild Arm's dungeons.... So, I enjoyed Suikoden III, and V a lot more than any of the Wild Arms games I've tried.... which so far are only, III and IV.
I don't recommend Suikoden IV... it's a bore fest with random battles every 3 steps. And the main character's looks.... I never got used to.
I have still yet to play Wild Arms but I have heard good things about it...I really need to crack it open one of these days. Suikoden on the other hand I have played and finished. It is a good game, though not as good as Suikoden II or III, and is quite unique. It has a solid story, fun gameplay (although can get somewhat repetitive), and some vary interesting characters. This last point is what really makes Suikoden unlike any other RPG series. Building up your castle through the recruitment of characters is fun and allows for much variety when selecting a party to tackle enemies. Suikoden is a game that I would definitely recommend.
I will have to agree with Suikioden. That was one of my favorite PS1 games back in the day. Never got around to playing any of the ones for the PS2 though...
Suikoden has the better story, more tactical battles - somewhat, and can be quite engrossing. Wild Arms has some nice music, a fairly interesting story though the characters are a tad on the bland side. Just try to resist whistling along to 'Into The Wildeness' from Wild Arms 1, great tune.R/T
definitely suikoden
Well it looks like the verdict is Suikoden. I would have to agree I played it on PS1 and it was a great experience, the huge number of playable characters and as others mentioned the castle building with the new recruits is alot of fun.
Suikoden.
Suikoden is one of my favorite RPGs.
Suikoden.
i like them both equaly
only reason why Wild Arms is looked down on is because it's a western RPG. It's not bad imo.
