Never palyed any of those games you mentioned on hard. I beat Heavenly Sword on Hell Mode(Hard) and it was easy compared to Ninja Gaiden Black on normal. Its stil la fun game just has some challenge, once you get used to everything its not too bad =)
It is a very hard game,but it is fun aswell if you love trial and error games.Games where you learn from your mistakes and prosper from them.

In NG you have lots of Invincible frames, and make sure you utilize the ''on-land utlimate techinque'' often. Also, don't go ape-crazy and spam the attack button. Block, roll, and play smart.Another plus though, is that NGB looks amazing. Atleast you feel like playing just for the eye candy. Much better than the uglier DMC...
