NES Battletoads?

Anyone here still play it? I think it's the hardest game, or at least the hardest platformer, I've ever played. NES Battletoads?
nah dude, Castlevania 3 for the NES was way harder. NES Battletoads?

Aww man, Battletoads was one of the hardest games I've ever played. The farthest I got was the level where you climb up a bunch of different floors. I vaguely remember.
The game was insanely tough. The next hardest game I played like that was Bucky O'Hare, but it was way easier. I struggled to beat battletoads with a game genie. Without the game genie and without warping I could only make it to Level 6, the snake level. I can't even beat level 11 with the game genie, I had to skip to 12 to beat it. I think that level had a control issue or my control pad wasn't very good. With 2 players only one of us ever made it past level 3. The game was so much harder with 2 players. What is up with that? I was able to beat Battletoad in Battlemaniac and Battletoads Double Dragon without cheating. They were so much easier.

The only part of battletoads that was tough that i reached was when you reach the jetbike area and have to navigate through this course filled with stone slabs. I never made it through there as a kid and god knows i tried.
I didnt play much of that one, but I always played Battletoads and Double Dragon for the SNES. I played it with my friend all the time and we never made it far.

You have no idea how much easier that part of the game was than most of the later levels. No idea, OMG the game is so damn hard.
There was a battletoads for SNES ?? what was it called? I guess it doesnt matter my SNES is dead.
There was a battletoads for SNES ?? what was it called? I guess it doesnt matter my SNES is dead.
There were two games for the SNES. A remake of Battletoads Double Dragon which was missing some sound elements from the NES version but had better graphics. This was the same Battletoads game that was on the Sega Genesis. There is also another game just called Battletoads for the Sega Genesis but it wasn't the same as the NES version, I think it was the same as the one named 'Battletoads' for the Gameboy. There is also a game for the SNES called Battletoads in Battlemaniacs, which might be a remake of the game called Battlemaniacs for the Sega Master System. (I don't really know, because I haven't played the one for the Master System) Anyways Battlemaniacs for the SNES was fairly similar to the original Battletoads, but it was a lot easier. I was able to beat it without cheating. You played as Pimple or Rash, they had different animations and Pimple was larger, but to me it seemed like they played identically. There were also Battletoads in Ragnorak's World for the Gameboy. If I remember correctly it was essentially the first Battletoads with levels cut out and in different orders. (I only borrowed this game from a neighbor when I was younger, so I didn't have much experience with it.) Sorry this is my messy version of the games history that I am confused about and really don't know what I am talking about. I did actually play all but 2 of them out of all the verions of the games, so I am even confused myself. The hard one was however the original for the NES.Edit: Here just check the wikipedia page and go down to the sequals section instead of trying to decipher my crap.
I got far into Battletoads but it felt like it had to ending at all.
This and Platoon were pretty difficult. Also, I found Life Force rather hard as well.
This game was awesome(and difficult). I remember going on vacation and one of the rooms in the condominiums we stayed at had an NES hidden away in a cupboard. With it was Battletoads. I remember playing this game with my brother and we didn't get too far...but it was fun anyway.

no way, those levels had an easy pattern to memorize. not nearly as difficult as continuous medusa heads
