Castlevania IV and Bloodlines worth play ...

Ive played all the GBA games and SOTN, and they were pretty great but people say the old ones are great too. Are they still worth playing, if so, why?Castlevania IV and Bloodlines worth play ...
Yes, they are worth playing because they are great games. Personally, I enjoy Castlevania 3 %26 4 more than the newer more open-ended games.Castlevania IV and Bloodlines worth play ...
castlevania 3 was definitely a good game, i +1 that, also if you can find agood iteration of the pc engine version of rondo of blood, its really good too.
The old ones play differently, but they're definitely worth it. It's just a different kind of experience... good luck finding Bloodlines though. Castlevania I-IV are available on Virtual Console, Rondo of Blood is on PSP, but Bloodlines is still just on Genesis (even though its sequel, story-wise, is Portrait of Ruin on the DS).
Very recommendable.
If you play them, expect a different type of game compared to Dawn of Sorrow or SotN. They are really good games though. Castlevania IV is considered a classic. Bloodlines is also one of the best Castlevania games, but it is hard to find now I think for it was on Sega.
They play differently, but are definately worth checking out. Bloodlines is one of my 2nd favorite Castlevania of the original style. I think the people who dislike old-school Castlevanias do so monstly because they're used to being practically invincible, having healing items, and just aren't up to the challenge of the originals.
