Well, they stopped making hames for them about 3 years ago, if you want to upgrade, get a ds, it's got a gameboy advance slot,and a slot for the ds games, of course.I loved my gameboy advance, so many good memories. I'd go to baseball practice/games and play it during my bench time,and on the way home. :)
It is only outdated if you have no more use for it.If there are still games that you want to play for it then no it is not.Like Angus said if you can buy a DS.You can play the new DS games and go back to old GBA games aswell.
No because it lets me play my Gameboy and Gameboy Advance games. It's still extremely useful, and maybe even more useful than my DS since I have more Gameboy and GBA games that I do DS games.

There's still plenty of good GBA games to play if you haven't already.Try Castlevania: Circle of the Moon and Harmony of DissonanceAlso try Zelda: the Minish CapBeware of the new DSi, as it is a DS but cannot play GBA games since it does not hace the required slot.
Yeah pretty much. But I still find myself going back to GBA/GBC occasionally even though their outdated, they're still fun.

I love my GBA for long trips not old to me.
I am still playing GBA games on my DS. If it weren't for Pokemon Diamond I would have spent more time playing GBA games on my DS than DS games.
