Didn't God of War 2 have a hidden HD mode? But it was only in the NA version, I think.
The GOW 2 one was awesome. But the game started having some slight frame dips.

1080i? That's pretty good for the ps2 I know when GT 4 came out that it looked great in just standard definition.
If it supported dvi it could output to 2560x1600 most likely. I don't see what the big deal is. However if it's playable then it's cool.
