I used to do this when I would rent Snes games. Whenever I got tired of playing a certain game on Snes I would go rent a new Snes game from blockbuster and open up the cartridge and switch the chips to the games. LOL my game would say Super Mario World but it would be Mortal Kombat 3 because I switched the chips.. feel sorry for the people that rented MK 3 and wound up with mario..Changing Snes game Chips
i feel sorry for you, for swapping super mario world for mortal kombat 3.Changing Snes game Chips

that is horrible, how can you sleep at night when you down graded your mario world? now i fear for the worst when i buy games...lol
My brother-in-law used to do that with NES games. I think he would actually trade out bad games for good games though.
I had Mario All Stars so I didnt care for Super Mario World and Mortal Kombat 3 is awesome! I have alot of friends so they would come over and it gave me and opportunity to kill them!
LOL, back in the day when I would get sick of a game I would take it back to this store called BEST. With no recipt and a game that's been opened and is a year old I'd get full price back everytime.I even returned my 32x there and got full price back after it was pretty old.It was sweet, I used to go back and forth between to two that were near my house. But that was a long time ago and BEST is no more (wonder why,LOL)
