Hey guys. You probably won't be able to help me with this but I'll post anyway since I really need that information. I would like to buy a PS2 in Thailand and buy a couple of games there. I hope they have them in English. Since I am from Germany I will take that PS2 back there some time (I am currently working in Laos, Southeastasia). Might there be any problems except for the need of an adapter for the power supply? Sorry guys I am an absolute console n00b.PS2 compatibility
I am pretty sure your thailand ps2 will be unable to play games you buy from england. They are region specific. PS2 compatibility
Good news mate: Thailand uses PAL. I'm not sure the games will work, but it's PAL.

Even though it does use PAL, it's still region specific. So most likely games from Europe will not work on it.
