DK64 or DKC trilogy?

Do you prefer Donkey Kong 64 for the N64, or the Donkey Kong Country trilogy for the SNES?



Personally, I like DKC trilogy for than DK64, mainly because of Diddy's Kong Quest. If it weren't for that, I would probably like DK64 more. DK64 or DKC trilogy?
I dont like DK64 at all but i loovvee DKCDK64 or DKC trilogy?
I like DKC trilogy better over DK64, mind you DK64 was a great game.
The First Donkey Kong country game is the only one out of all of those that I like, never a big fan of the rest since Dk is overshadowed far too much by the other characters, when all i wanted to do was play as Donkey Kong.
I find I like both equally and for different reasons.
I much prefer the DKC trilogy. I had DK64 and I didn't really care for it. But I especially loved the first two DKC games, the original was just fantastic and Diddy's Kong Quest was really challenging.

Figured. Although I did like the nice length of DK64 and the sort of ''free roam'' ability. Plus, the Aztec level was pretty cool. DKC2 was my favorite though. The third lacked something, but the first was awesome. My main problem with the third is that the different kremling style is never really explained.
Donkey Kong 64 had good platforming action, BUT it was sooooo repetitive at times. I hated when you had to do a certain task with all 5 monkeys, but you had to keep running back to the barrel to switch out, and do it. Got pretty annoying.



I'll stick with the DKC trilogy.
I preferred Donkey Kong Country, awesome game. Don't think i played the third, and i only got partway through the second before having to give it back :\
DK64 was absolutely Rare's largest game ever created in the history of N64 games. Even larger than Banjo Tooie, which became overwhelming, so I'd have to say the original DKC trilogy, don't get me wrong, DK64 was a magnificent gem for the 64, get both if you're asking which one to buy at a store.
Oh, don't worry, I have all four games. =3 I had DK64 from the time I bought it about 8 or 9 years ago, I got the DKC trilogy when I bought my SNES on Ebay two years ago. Anyways, yeah, I prefer DKC 2 over all the others because it's theme and difficulty. Pirates are awesome, no?

Donkey Kong Country and its sequel are both one of my all time favorite games, but you would know that already if you would have clicked the Favorite games link in my sig.
They are all fun games but I think that DK 64 is better. That game has loads of content.

I have both DKC and DKC2 for the VC and would buy DK64 whenever that comes out. Don't care for DKC3 much.
I still say the pirates theme was awesome. But the Fungi level in 64 was freaking awesome.

Sometimes I put DKC2 into my SNES just so I can play through the pirate levels :D I really love the snake level! That was a really good theme.

I agree with this
The snake level had great gameplay. =] I like the castle levels. The Dungeon level with chain-climbing was a pain, though.
All of them were great, but DK64 was just a little bit more magical for me.
