As a legacy gamer, I'm sure you've come across some interesting 3rd party controllers over the years that you possibly bought or played with. This topic is for you to share and talk about the interesting 3rd party controllers and gadgets you've collected from the yesteryear of gaming. So, let me kick things off with two of my favorite legacy 3rd party controllers. One of my favorite things I've gotten in my collection was a pure surprise for one Xmas year.An Universal Arcade Stick From PelicanIt can hook up to the Psone, PS2, Gamecube, Wii, and Xbox systems (and also PC via usb converter) It even features a spot for the xbox card. It had an 8 button face, and features a raised design that actually makes it easier to play and has less tension on your hands. It has turbo and programmable buttons too (so you can program for example, Ryu's hadoken on command to a button). It's pretty neat and has held up pretty nicely the last 3 years or so. It's not the best arcade stick ever, but it's pretty nice and saves space. My second favorite controller, is one of the best things I ever got for the Genesis:
A Fighter Stick SG-6 By Asciiware![]()
This stick goes awesome with Street Fighter II' Championship edition. It's got a nice stick, with a 6 button convex layout, turbo and auto switches for every button (6 different switches!) plus a slow switch. It's got good heft too so it doesn't move and can stand up to hard play.So Gamespotters, what are you favorite 3rd party legacy controllers from the past?Your Favorite 3rd Party Legacy Controlle ...
Ahh the Logitech action PS2 wireless controller.I still have one of these and I love it.Your Favorite 3rd Party Legacy Controlle ...
generally mad katz sometimes pelican
the asciiware resident evil controller for ps1, i still whip it out from time to time.
I still have the Asciiware SNES Advantage joystick. It's alright, I use to use it occasionally, mostly for fighting games.

I really, really like the Arcade Stick for the Genesis. The quality of it is just awesome. Also, the Wico Command Control for the 2600 is one of the smoothest feeling joysticks I've ever used.
I played my friend's Ascii arcade stick for Dreamcast. It was really great.
That Xbox arcade stick looks pretty good, especially with MAME. Logitech Cordless PS2 %26 Xbox 1 controllers are on my to buy list. I already ordered the PS2 version w/PS2 to PC adapter. People say the Logitech Cordless controllers are better than the 1st party controllers and that is extremely rare praise, in fact, I have never read or heard that said of any other 3rd party controller.
