Zelda: Link to Past, Super Metroid, Super Mario World, Actraiser, Seiken Densetsu 3 (Translated), Secret of Mana, Terranigma (Translated), Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Assault Suits Valken (Translated), UN Squadron, and many many more. This will get you started though.

Super metroid,Mario kart,Super mario World,and Legend of zelda:link to the past are my all time favorites. Great games and I still play the GBA version of link to the past on my DS. Super nintendo was probably the best system ever next to PS2 so look around according to taste,there were lots of quality titles.
I won't make a big list of games, but I will say this. GET SUPER MARIO RPG!!!!!!!!If I could only own one game for my SNES it'd be that one. Great fighting system, great characters, great music, great graphics, excitement, and fun. I've never played a better game.
Final Fantasy 3 (onlye 3 in the U.S. actually final fantasy 6), Super Star Wars, Super Empire Strikes Back and Super Return of the Jedi!
Good god I hated the star wars games on the SNES!

Definately Zelda, Mario and Metroid. Those should be your first port of call.
