PS2 Slim - still worth it?

My Xbox 360 got RROD, and now I've just been playing my DS for months.

I was gonna pop out my GC, but then when looking for games online I saw that they are ridiculously expensive for such an old console which apparently was a flop sales wise.

Obviously because I've been playing DS for so long PS2 quality graphics seem perfectly fine. I got into RPG's again with the DS, so I'm thinking about getting a PS2 Slimline and a bunch of games I missed out on. PS2 like 60 GB Pounds online.

Any thoughts?PS2 Slim - still worth it?
Also, I am a big fan of platformers, and didn't buy any for the PS2 when it still read discs.PS2 Slim - still worth it?
my xbox took about 3 weeks but if you do get a ps2 get ratchet and clank games.
Totally worth it! PS2 is still a great console! Dragons Quest 8 is an awesome RPG, if you've never played it! Like over 100 hours of gameplay! Plus stuff like Okami, Harvest Moon:It's a wonderfull life and Fahrenheit are some smaller games you shouldn't miss out on!
Jack and Daxter series seems cool, and which is the best Ratchet game?

Thanks for the recommendations, but I don't like super long RPG's, 35 hours is my limit.
I think it is. Get Ratchet and Clank and Person 3+4.
Okay, I found 3 good offers, I'll buy one of them tomorrow.
Done. I should get it in 48 hours. REJOICE!
Nice, and yes its still worth it. PS2 is alive and kicking.
Definitely worth it. PS2s huge library has some great games.
