The main character is a female (seems about 19 maybe. In any case, she's an adolescent or adult). the game is an Action-like game. similar to...Contra, with only you as the fighter.
from what I can remember:
1st stage: looks like a destroyed city set on fire, you having to fight off enemies like mages, magicians, maybe aliens, i don't quite remember. the Boss i think is an alien.
2nd/3rd (?) stage: I only remember the boss. the boss is someone jumping up and about the screen on a white tiger. the tiger/boss does a big slash and the slash sends a blue/white projectile in your direction shaped like a crescent. also, i think the stage itself has white blocks/edges perhaps.
another #? stage: starts off with your character traversing a kind of...grassy plane/field. i don't quite remember if there are butterfly/bug-like opponents, but it seemed like you're fighting outside of a sanctuary (shown in the background) to make your way into it eventually. inside you end up fighting a boss. i believe the boss was green and could teleport and was very annoying.
final stage: you're in the insides of an alien monster or ship or something. the insides look like some alien's guts. the walls are pink and i think there are bubbles that float around that can harm you. the boss, i believe was an alien.
Even if the name of the game is not known, then being directed to at least all the games on the SNES with female characters as the main character would be helpful. i'll search every one of them. such a list is surprisingly hard to find online. though SNES IS kind of old. Thanks in advance!Name of an Old SNES female action game
Super Valis: Akaki Tsuki no Otome maybe?
^ i remember super valis 4 for snes was very similar as well.
Super Valis IV? I'll check it out immediately and respond as fasssst as possible. This may be it!
^ i remember super valis 4 for snes was very similar as well.
It's the same game.
OOOOOOOOOOOOMG! Thank you guys SO freaking much!!! that's the game! ugh *screams head off*
*sigh* good times. gooood times.
Oh one more request if no one minds. There's a super nintendo game that has two cavemen as the main characters fighting in the prehistoric world. It's an action game, similar to contra but with...bones and clubs as weapons instead of deadly machine guns, i suppose. I cannot remember that game for the life of me. I used to play it all the time on my SNES. Any assistance on it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again.
oops. found it. THANKS AGAIN!

I had Super Valis 4. I only played through it to see the cool anime cutscenes. It was fairly difficult as well.
Yeah I had the game but my sister sold it along with some other SNES games and our SNES like...12 years ago or something. But at least i know the name now. Super Valis, Joe %26 Mac and Final Fight were three SNES games i couldn't remember the names of because I was so young, but used to play all the time. I think i was 8 or something. I remember beating Super Valis IV but don't remember the ending.

The character swap ability was also removed on the SFC version, which was overall a sub-par port of an already questionable game.
Valis doesn't play like Contra :/ Joe %26 Mac does though.
theres a game 99% of genesis owners dont own that most people thought were just only for female and wasnt good but its a good game i give it a 9.0its like a flying shooter gameit has 2 different names but i forget the namesits a have to own game
Yeah it's pretty neat. I just finished beating it yesterday. I can't believe how difficult it was though and how much time I actually spent playing that game when it was on my home system and I had no 'savestate' :P Brings back memories though.
