The rarest gaming item I own is the Turbo Duo.What is the rarest gaming item you have?
the rarest?that would have to be my copy of test drive unlimited for the 360 signed by all the developers,as far as I know nobody on the planet has a copy signed by all the devs
It's not super incredibly rare, but it's pretty damn rare. I have a sealed copy of the limited edition of MGS3:Subsistence. I'm not sure how many copies were actually made, but my GS only got 4 copies.
I have an ''Adversary'', it's from the late 70's and it has a few games built in, which are pretty much variations of Pong.
nice. can anyone remember the rarest gaming item they seen? this was like 5 years ago but i remember vividly. we were at a garage sale and this couple had an atari for sale. i dont know the number but it came with 15 games all with manuals and box AND WITH A CARRYING CASE! thats how old it was the carrying case was made out of GLASS! they wanted 30 bucks for it. if i was a little bit older and would of known that would be rare i would of bought it

Rare? Hmm. Not sure. I have some old things though. The gold carts for both zeldas. The first 5-7 years of Nintendo Power. All of the various ''limited edition'' Zelda games that came out on the cube. I'm referring to the multi-game disks.
It is either the DK bongos, Samba de Amigo for DC, or Zelda Collectors Edition, or my really old school Pelican System Selector.Thats funny because All my friends in 2nd grade always thought that the Saturn was the rarest console ever.
I own a few rare things. I have a Japanese Super Mario 3 yellow cart, Electroplankton for the DS, Ico, Marvel Vs. Capcom to for the DC, Powerstone 1%262 for the DC, Super Dodgeball, Chrono Trigger, Ikaruga for the GC, REz for the PS2, Pikmin 2, Gunstar Heroes for Sega, Toe Jam and Earl 1%262 for Sega, FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX, Super Mario World 2 Yoshi's Island Snes, and Shenmue 1%262 for DC.
Not sure how rare this stuff is, but I have Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre (GBA), Odin Sphere, Manhunt, and MS Saga (PS2). All of the games are complete with cases and manuals except for Manhunt. Also have the Game Boy Player and the Xenosaga: Episode 3 pre-order bonus artbook.
I have no clue how rare this is... but I have Super Mario All-Stars+Super Mario World. Seems like it would be pretty rare...
Well I dont have any rare games or consoles...well I have my Genesis, thats not really rare imo.The title says gaming items...so I assume anything related to games...right?..well whatever,I have a Metal Sonic plush doll that was released in 1994 for Sonic the Fighters that I imported from Japan some years ago.
I am not sure about rare, but I have some gaming items that fetch a pretty penny on the secondhand market (ie eBay).1.) Earthbound - SNES - Complete with everything NR MINT (Game, guide, oversized box, etc.)2.) Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence Limited Edition - PS2 - Complete/Not sealed, but still MINT3.) Valkyrie Profile - PS - Complete/NR MINT4.) Digital Devil Saga Deluxe Box Set - PS2 - Complete/NR MINT5.) Terranigma - SNES - Complete/NR MINT (This is an import from Europe, English language - Never released in U.S.)**I also have a new copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga for the Sega Saturn coming my wayThat's about it for the pricey items in my collection.
Probably...Dragon Warrior 7 for the PS1 as well as Kings Field 1 and 2 also for the PS1.They're both near impossible to find. (excluding e-bay)
I just rememberd....I DO own a rare game....Einhander for PS1.After playing a demo of it I loved it,it took me a long time to find it but I finally found it at a KBs store in a mall in a pile of unstocked games behind the counter...brand new.
I own a fountain programmable video system which was only made in Australia and New Zealand during the 70's along with 15 games.EDIT: here's a link containing the only picture I could find. Mine is the fountain 1392 model which kind of looks like the one in the upper right hand corner of the picture.
I dont have any rare gaming items these days. Sold my DC few years ago and my Game Colour was destroyed last year. I do have some rare PS2 games like Nocturne and ICO.
