How is the story / gameplay and all that? My friend and I might play it through coop but I don't like how you have to play the levels in SP before coop. But how is it overall?Return to Castle Wolfenstein (XBOX): Wor ...
Strange... never heard anybody really talking about RTCW for years and I bought it like a month ago and recently got in to it myself lol. I didn't complete it but the Campaign is long and I played through a lot of it, but to be honest, I can't ever recall anything saying or seeing for that matter, about co-op on this game...?
It is worth it for the Campaign though, it's awesome. Can't wait for the new one this year!Return to Castle Wolfenstein (XBOX): Wor ...
Okay, although I got this game for PS2, and the Xbox version is considered the better the version of the two, I still thought this game was horrible. It has not aged well at all. The gameplay is older than any xbox or ps2 FPS. I loved previous Wolfenstein games, but this one was horrible. If you want a decent co-op FPS get Darkwatch, I thought that game was better altthough the enemies are the same.
I would check this game out but too bad its not backwards compatible on the 360.
It's good and worth playing. There is a split screen multiplay for the story mode
I played the PS2 version and got bored by it. Cookie cutter level design i.e. lots of hallways and rooms and everything looked the same. There are better first person shooters than this one.

I'm pretty sure that it is BC. Anyway it's totally worth it, one of the best fps single player modes of it's gen.
I would say if you are going to play Return to Castle Wolfenstein play it on PC. I havent tried it on a console yet but the PC version is a classic, plus what is better than taking down a super powered Hitler
Stay away from it: it's a frustrating mess. It takes a whole machinegun magazine or 5 headshots to kill a standard nazi and you can only pick up the ammo they have left in their clip (which means you will usually get 2-3 bullets), so you're constantly running short and have to switch to the knife. It's frustrating, it's unrealistic, the stealth is awful and the game a pale shadow of the amazing PC version.

I got this game for PC. I loved it. It's worth buying.
PC version all the way, should run on any computer these days, xbox version if your PC is from 1980 or something

I didn't get a chance to play too far into it, but it didn't even take five bullets to the chest to kill a standard Nazi when I played. But, it's been a while since I played, so I could be wrong.
Definitely get the PC version if your PC isn't a dinosaur. PC is always the most powerful system provided you have current technology. It doesn't take that much to run this game anyways. If you have a P4 era PC, it is probably at least 5 to 6 times more powerful than an Xbox.

Maybe we were playing two different difficulty levels, I seem to remember they were confusing, not just easy-normal-hard, so I might have chosen the hard one.Anyway, seriously TC: the PC version will run on a 800mhz PC with 128MB ram and a 16MB video card compatible with directx 8. It will work on Mac and Linux as well. I think even my toaster meets those requirements. Get the PC version for $2 and never bother with the console port.
My main memory of the Xbox version was the camera's head bounce/bob that always gave me motion sickness if i played if for more than an hour.

They were the same as in Wolfenstein 3D. And they are hilarious.:P
Yeah it's worth the playthrough, you can find the game really cheap these days. The single player is really fun, I remember having a good time playing it anyway.
